My plan here is to list items that I find useful for radio operations and other activities. This is here to help aid new hams and veterans find quality gear. While saving money by not buying untested and un-needed gear. I will continue to update this page over time as i find more items of value.
Power Source:
Alinco DM-330MVT Power Supplies – Use primarily for base or home operations.
Bioenno Power BLF-1212A LiFePO4 Batteries – Great for POTA and emergency operations. It’s light weight and compact compared to a lead acid battery of similar rating. It also already has PowerPoles attached.
Power Distribution:
RIGrunner 4004 USB – West Mountain Radio – A great 4 port power block with USB ports. Great when you need to plug multiple radios and other devices into your 12v power source.
12 – Position-Distribution Block – A low-cost solution for power distribution. though it doesn’t have any fuse protection.
O Ring battery/Power Supply terminals to Anderson PowerPole – Great for connecting your power supply into a distribution block. setup to receive power through a standard PowerPole connection. However, if you are powering multiple devices that draw a good amount of current. You may want to consider something with a heaver gauge wire.
Power Analyzer -The power analyzer with PowePoles will make it easier to see what your load is drawing.
If you have an item, you think i should know about, please let me know. maybe I will list it.
