I recently purchased the Si4732 Pocket Mini Radio a few months ago. I had intended to write an article about it but never got around to it. However, I do feel the Mini Radio is actually pretty cool and that it does deserve so attention.
It is definitely one of the smallest radios I have seen in a long time. The only smaller radio I have owned was the Quasar FM Radio in a Pen. But when you take in to account the Si4732 receive capabilities as compared to that of the pen. The Pocket Mini Radio has a lot more packed into its tiny matchbox size form factor.
The Si4732 Pocket has a built-in rechargeable battery via and can-do FM AM LSB USB. I believe it firmware update able. but I can’t find any updates. It seems pretty durable. My only complaint is it only has a switch to turn it on and off. All other functions are controlled via the knob which also doubles as a button. However, this seems to be a common design flaw of new Beta devices. Well maybe not a flaw more than a way to keep the initial design and hardware cost down.
It can be purchased from several different places including amazon. The Pocket Mini Radio is often sold with a choice of antenna either Telescoping, Loop or no antenna.
It makes for a great travel radio or one you might carry when backpacking.

Here is a link to the pen I mentioned. No, I’m not the seller and I have no connection. https://www.ebay.com/itm/256717660299
