HamRS – New Version! ????

I happened to click on the version number on the bottom of the HamRS login screen and I noticed this.

It seems they are preparing to release a new version soon. 2.46.0. At time of writing this the current version is still 2.45.0.

The really cool thing about this coming release is. It looks like they are adding spotting for SOTA activation’s (Summits on the Air). But don’t get too excited about it yet it’s not available anywhere.

I’m hoping they will add some more cluster options soon. I would like to start focusing on DX a bit more.

I have been searching for other options for DX Spot application or clusters recently. I was using FL cluster. It works but it’s old school. So far, the other options I have found haven’t provided the ease of use that HamRS does. I find the simplicity of and clean simple interface of HamRS makes it a pleasure to use over other options. Though there are some other nice logging contesting applications out there that I have mentioned. Which offer some other cool features.
